First Class Bradley Manning and his living in Oklahoma, being gay/trans but not out in the military, his deployment to Iraq and working in isolation going thru security documents and allegedly leaking documents to Wikileaks. Amy woke up hungry in Memphis and got herself some barbeque. Scott and Amy dish on the new Channing Tatum film, Magic Mike, if they'd love stripping and opening a male Hooters restaurant. It's the 10th Anniversary for Gay Idol and the days are ticking down to Pride 2012. AND Scott and Amy are in a new movie, Scrooge & Marley, which is a sweet and gay retelling of A Christmas Carol.
Amy's excited for today's guest, Spider Saloff. This is her first time interviewing her after hearing Spider for the first time back in 1994. Richard Knight Jr. is going to be in a new movie filming soon in Chicago. Amy is running solo on today's show!
Guest: Cabaret Jazz Performer Spider Saloff joins Amy on the Queercast. She is bringing her one woman show to Chicago in May, The Roar of the Butterfly before going Off-Broadway. Spider shares some of her early beginnings with Amy, her training as an actress and working in the New York nightclubs and jazz rooms. She also explains how she transitioned from singing to doing her one woman show. Her show will be at Victory Gardens Theater from May 2 - May 20th. WOW! That GAGA! She keeps pushing it further and further and further and
FURTHER. Go on! I predict at this pace she could totally eclipse Madonna as
the most edgy pop star of all time. She just gets it - or can I say that we
