Alex is back on the Queercast direct from Hollywood. Amy and Alex recap the Tony Awards and the red carpet! Katherine Hepburn makes a brief return! We mourn the loss of two amazing people - the beautiful Cyd Charisse and Meet the Press news giant, Tim Russert. What did Amy think of Ironman? What did Alex think of Indiana Jones? It's a major Hollywood chat, gear up!

Movie Minute: Get Smart starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway getsmartmovie.warnerbros.com/

Lots of TV talk, cougars (guess who brought this up) and guilty pleasures, but not for Alex. She just likes the pleasure and NOT the guilt.

Music Featured on this Queercast:
Melissa Etheridge - "California"
The Ditty Bops - "There's A Girl"

Jeff S: Hello Amy!...Another grade podcast..I like the memoriam on Russert as well..I hope everyone is being safe and wise this 4th-be on the alert. You will need to be..This is the times we are living in..They are not as safe as it use to be..When I heard of the violence after the July 3rd fireworks in Grant Park and that it left one young teenage man dead,I realized that this is very sad and frightening to me..While that was going on,I was up at the Closet and met a pychic and he said just go w/ what u believe and u will be right 90% of the time.Getting back to the podcast, I love the gay marriage revolt in CA and I do agree w/ Alexandra Billings that all the realty shows are leaving actors/actresses w/ no scripts to do movies/shows.I saw one last night 'The Password "and Rosie ODonnell was featured along w/ some other Olympic star.I'm hooked..But, I would rather see development on new programs/tv series w/ leading roles of major gay/lesbian characters who have power to change the world. That would be groundbreaking just like we have an african american leading the ticket of a major party-how exciting..We(the GBLT) can be there too. Let's hope new shows come to surface soon or i will be more likely to watch movies like "Sex in The City" or look at events on the net....Happy 4th and be safe everyone,Jeff
