WCQ203 OUT at the Ballgame, OUT on the Campaign, OUT at the Movies

Host: Amy Matheny with co-host Kelli Simpkins

Dish: It is our first podcast ever from Wrigley Field and CUBS WIN! They are on a streak! Kelli is shy at first, a little self-conscious recording in the stands, but once they get home they talk about Hillary winning Pennsylvania (so it's not over yet?!) and how she and Barack might do in Kelli's home state of Indiana for the next primary.

Also it is the 11th Annual National Day of Silence for students across the US. If they had GSA's when Amy was a high school student, she thinks she could have been recruited...because she was clueless. Kelli calls her practical. Must be love. But Kelli recognizes like the rest of us that a Day Of Silence would be near impossible for our Amy.

Guest: Our Movie Queen, Richard Knight Jr. fills us in on all things movies. Which DVD box sets are we buying more of? Bette Davis or Joan Crawford? Nora Jones is making her acting debut. April and May will be bringing many films to the theater. New Indiana Jones, Bette Midler and Robert Downey are just a few that made the cut on this Queercast. Check out for more!

Music Featured in This Queercast:
Steve Goodman - "Go, Cubs Go!"

LUCY V.: Great show guys. Kelli, I’m totally with you on the shades of denial and would I be brave enough not to fight who I am. About the great thong vs. flip-flop debate. Back in the day, before the thong underwear/ swimsuit debacle, we used to call flip-flops thongs because it split the toes and not the butt cheeks. But I do have a question. Why do teenagers call sweatshirts sweaters now?? It makes me crazy.

Jeff S: Hi Amy! I will see u this wed at Atmosphere for the next idol event...I love the podcast at Wrigley..U and Kelli seem to have alot of fun there..I hope IN and NC go for Hillary. I commend Kelli for keeping it real as well. Maybe, many of my co-workers/friends aill be there wed to support me. I hope all those who see me at Craeokoe and Roscoes/Northend kareokeo will come out and support me too. As for Kirk W.,you seem to highlight news events so well. I like the low tone of your voice-not too pitchy. I think the dems are keeping all the real issues alive as the pres contest goes further than anyone expected and can only help America be as democratic as possible. It's a blessing for us all. I love these podcasts.Someone like Tim ,from Bobby Loves, needs to show me set up my own podcast because i have some new great ideas to get our own community going especially in the dating scene. Please help if u read this..Luis -great seeing u and the video/camera u had at Roscoes.I would like to see.To all my fans and critics,U dont see me out lately because I really dont have too much extra to go out..But, I maybe looking for a second job soon which should help. I would like to see several hundred ppl pack Atmosphere and Hydrate this week.It is only a $5.00 cover.Let's break records.Amy/Kathleen/Kirk and everyone at Windycity media Group should be commended for another great idol season. take care,Jeff
