LUCY V.: Seriously America!!!!!!!!! F’ing wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pailin CANNOT get in to the White House. If these two numbnuts win after the last 8 ridiculous years we have endured I really really don’t know what we can do as a country. Were already becoming China’s Bitch and we need to fix our country, NOW! Why isn’t mainstream media discussing the points Amy and Mitchell have enlightened the listening audience about? This election cannot be stolen by the Republicans again. Outrage, outrage, outrage!!

Eric: Dear Amy and Queercast Staff, I stumbled across your webcast and started listening at work early this summer. I have greatly appreciated the bright spot your shows have offered me in the doldrums of the "cube farm." I love Chicago, love the gay community there, and someday hope to find my place in the great Windy City, so it has been exciting for me to "live gay Chicago" vicariously through your work. However, I listened to show #242 today and I have to say that I'm saddened and disappointed at the tone of the show (and the recent ones leading up to it). I am a gay Christian, and am struggling to find my place in a church community that struggles to understand me. The Christian church has a reputation of being inhospitable to gays, and my own tradition is no exception. But I have never experienced a intensity of disapproval in my church community that would compare with the hatred and disdain and reckless insults that made up the content of this program. I can't help but marvel at the irony that a show dedicated to awareness and acceptance of the gay community is so one-sided and compassionless. As a gay Christian my quest for community continues because I obviously will not find acceptance in the "queercast family." I wish you well, and I hope you never forget the power of your medium for creating true harmony inside the gay community. Because it's only if we're truly united inside that we can spark change in the rest of our culture.
