WCQ284 Alex Mincing Words

Host: Amy Matheny with Alexandra Billings

The gals are back and what a show this is. Alex is trying to get Amy on Facebook. Yes, the Facebook debate continues. Amy shares her fears of signing up. Now, hold onto something, Alex shares some strong opinions of RuPaul and his take on the word Tranny. They also discuss many other words that some are embracing but could be offensive to others. How do you feel about these words? Please send us your comments!

Bi the Way: Jack gives us his first segment as the "B" Boy in the GLBT Alphabet Soup.

cyn: hellz yeah jack! we LOVE that you're sharing with us!! you know i'm an uppity broad who tries to be vocal about breaking down bi stereotypes and ignorance, but i'm with you, at the end of the day i'm happy with my sexuality and know that's it's part of what makes me fantastic ;) can't wait till your next segment! xoxox

Kelli Strickland: We also need to remember the history of our language. Bull Dyke meant something. Dyke in general meant something. Having played a dyke, old schol dyke, you maintain respect for the opportunities those women gained for a queer/gay/lesbian woman. Something we take for granted.
