WCQ295 The Fantastic Bob Mould

Host: Amy Matheny Amy has been hit with the lovely flu bug so she's keeping it at a mellow pace on this Queercast. Windy City Gay Idol is back and better than ever. She discusses the story of the late Pedro Zamora, the HIV positive Cuban-American cast member of the Real World. There is a new documentary out celebrating his life written by Dustin Lance Black, the writer of Milk.

Guest: Bob Mould, the openly gay front man of the 80's band, Husker Du, talks with Amy about his music, his life and his new CD, Life and Times. He discusses the music he grew up with, being outed in 1994 by Spin magazine, working on Hedwig and the Angry Inch and the journey leading up to writing his memoir.
