It is freezing in Chicago but Amy is heating up the Queercast with a review of the new show, Empire! It's hot hot hot!
Guest: Re-Enlisted Gay Navy Veteran Lee Reinhart joins Amy again on the Queercast. Lee discusses the many changes in the military since the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. He shares his incredible story of getting re-enlisted, his first assignment, and receiving orders to go to Afghanistan as a Logistics Specialist. Lee is the President of the Chicago Chapter of AVER (American Veterans for Equal Rights). His chapter will be installing the first monument dedicated to the service of LGBT Veterans in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. They are taking donations to cover the $20,000 cost of the monument.
